The year of 2020 is no less than the craziest year of any. There are many events that have occured this year and for this article we will be discussing a one of those events. Today we are talking about businesses shutting down due to the current pandemic, the Corona Virus or Covid-19. During the start of Covid we had all of our businesses open, the only things we had at the beginnning was that we should wear a mask. So eventually when people weren't taking precautions and wearing masks, washing their hands, staying away from people as much as possible exc, the pandemic only got worse which everntually closed almsot all of the small businesses which was a big blow to the economy as in Michigan the economy is almost all relying on the small businesses. Covid did not let up and it only got worse, and so the businesses were forced to stay closed for months. This eventually caused them, the businesses, to close forever as they couldn't afford to pay the bills while they weren't being paid. We are now at the second wave of Covid and now more than ever we need to start being safe and take all the precautions seriously or our businesses will not survive, as a second closure would surely end many more of them. It's more the an problem for just our business owners, its a problem for our citizens and our government.Neocities.
Closures on businesses is a big problem. It is a problem to the citizens because it reduces the places they can go to get products or have a good time. It may also cause them to have to drive further to get the tings they need in which causes them to have to pay more money for gas or even the items they purchase. It may also affect your working situation, as many people have to stay home and will recive checks that way. While some workers have to still go into work and be in a unsafe work envirement due to fewer precautions. closing of businesses also affects the goverment. As said previously in this article, the government of many of the smaller states rely on the smaller businesses for income to the state. The states and government rely on buisnesses for profit and without them the government and states get into debt and that adds up fairly quickly if that's happening all around the world.
This pandemic has made it very hard for businesses to even stay open. We need our businesses to stay open and be able to support teh government and their communitites around them.
